Leaders in sustainable marketing
At Point, we believe we all have a responsibility to look after our planet and make sure we do everything possible to leave it in a better place than it currently is. We, therefore, interpret our client’s needs and guide them towards the most sustainable solution to meet their requirements.
We intend to reduce our carbon footprint and ensure we are moving towards a more sustainable future by using more environmentally and responsibly sourced materials - from the board used in manufacturing structures, the plastic in our promotional items and the paper used in our print jobs.
What sustainability
means to us
Sustainability means
meeting our own needs
without compromising the
ability of future generations
to meet their own needs.
Sustainability is not just
environmental-ism it
encompasses all aspects of
the business, environmental
and social world.
Sustainability is a key driving
factor in achieving progress
and positive change.
Sustainability isn’t a trend,
it’s a mandate.
How we implement reuse,
reduction, and recycling
at Point
To reuse, reduce and recycle, our system allows us to track and manage responsible disposal, as well as maintenance to reduce reproduction.
We can also track and manage the end-to-end asset journey in real-time to assess usage and inform future campaign decisions.
We can decrease material usage and reduce the carbon footprint for your brand with possible cost and time savings and our sustainability calculator directly impacts design before production, which proactively leads to change.
We achieve this by doing the following:
Reuse
- Modular units that can be recladded
- Reuse of elements common to modular units and other POSM utilizing these accessories.
- Collect and cycle primary packaging back into production facilities.
Reduce
- Augmented Reality samples to replace physical samples
- Reduce the use of single-use accessories
Recycle
- Recycle cladding from modular units
- Recycle units after life in trade
- Recycle primary packaging transforming it into accessories and structures.
Point is tasked to provide an approach to drive a sustainability plan that supports the delivery of our client's sustainability objectives.
Point can provide support through the procurement activities related to the production of Print & POS materials and propose that the primary material selection be considered as the start of the change program.

EcoVadis
The EcoVadis audit provides sustainability ratings and performance improvement tools for all our global supply chains so we can effectively monitor our suppliers’ sustainability performance.
Through this, we ensure our network is reliable, competitive, and adhering to all-around sustainability to reduce risk and protect our clients, suppliers, and staff.
Point was awarded, Silver.
Smeta/Sedex
Point conducts mandatory second party SMETA audits on SEDEX, the online ethics and responsibility management platform, to promote and ensure responsible social and environmental practices within our supplier network. These audits cover the following ethical policies:
- Labour
- Respect for the laws and safety
- Respect for the individual
- Respect for the consumer
- Respect for the environment
Point can ring-fence workgroups and coordinate audit reporting.
Responsible Plastic Management
Point is the first organization in the Middle East and Africa to reach “engaged” status with RPM. This is an early step in the process, and we are still understanding the impact of becoming fully certified.
The initiative aims at assisting organizations to develop their internal processes and procedures to enable responsible management of plastic rather than eradicating plastic.
The aim is to reduce single-use plastics and ensure that appropriate plastics are chosen.
These plastics need to be recyclable, contain recycled content and reduce the amount of plastic utilized overall to only what is required.
This reduction informs the design and ensures that units being manufactured are designed well and promote sustainability.

POPAI/Sustain
Sustain™ is the primary use of the POPAI platform guiding us on our decisions and material understanding for a clear measure of environmental impact using Embedded carbon and water as the measure.
This helps us understand at the design stage what items to update and how we can prove the change has a positive impact on the environmental impact.
Additionally, POPAI is used to gain access to reports, insights, industry knowledge, training and courses. This platform is driven by insight and information provided by the industry.
This should however be used selectively as the information is predominantly UK based.
One Billion Trees Initiative (OBTI)
Point has partnered up with The Storey Group to help with our goal to support OBTI.
The OBTI aims to collectively and transparently plant one billion trees across the globe by the end of 2025. 51 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases are produced each year
