Point Group – H1 2022 Trading Update


Group H1 results has been released

Following a strong start to the new financial year in Q1, Q2 has seen continued forward momentum despite several trading challenges in some markets as a consequence of some of the economic and socio-political issues being experienced around the globe currently.

The Group’s H1 gross revenue saw a 3% growth year-on-year for the half, with some extremely strong performances from a number of key client accounts including GSK and Coca Cola. Strong growth was also reported from our Central, East and West African (CEWA), and Sub-Saharan (SSA), markets with 20% and 17% year-on-year gross revenue growth being achieved respectively.

Growth in the Iconic strategic, digital, and creative services continue to bear fruit for the Group as we saw H1 deliver record revenues for the business unit.

In light of positive gross revenue and EBIDTA growth and coupled with four significant new client account wins already in 2022, management is confident of a strong H2 performance across the Group and good tailwinds being generated for the next financial year as a consequence.
